Leichhardt Uniting Church

Leichhardt Uniting Church is blessed to have many musicians call our community home. We hold musical services a few times a year, often for Good Friday, Pentecost and Advent, as well as Taizé worship periodically. You can find videos of these performances, including by the LUC choir, on our YouTube channel.

Rev. Radhika is a wonderful musician and songwriter, and sheet music for her song Worthy is available for download.

LUC is also home to Marion St, a sacred arts project by Mikali Anagnostis and Gabi Cadenhead, which aims to create, record and resource new worship music, centring voices from the margins of the church. Thanks to the support of Sydney Presbytery and Leichhardt Uniting Church, Marion St have produced three EPs of worship music: Whole, Calling and Made. These EPs are largely comprised of songs written by and for the LUC community, and we regularly sing them together during Sunday worship. Marion St’s music is available on all streaming platforms and sheet music is also available for purchase so that other worshipping communities can sing their songs.
