Part of our radical discipleship heritage and identity is a belief that it ain’t about us individually, but that we are part of something bigger than ourselves, and to be a disciple is to give to that vision and to receive from it. That vision, in a nutshell, is the Kingdom of God. So we are a community church, because we work for the Kingdom, for that great day when all people have enough to eat, when all people have shelter and education and safety, when all people know community and not isolation, when heaven and earth look so alike that you can’t tell one from the other – and we do our work together.
