Conditions of Entry to Leichhardt Uniting Church (LUC) Worship Service
1. You must not enter if you are feeling unwell or have a fever. LUC reserves the right to ask you to not enter if we feel a person is showing symptoms of Covid-19.
2. All people attending the Worship Service:
a. Must stay 1.5 metres apart from other people unless you are from the same household.
b. Must use the hand sanitiser provided.
c. Are strongly recommended to wear masks at all times unless you have an exemption.
d. Must remain seated at all times before, during and after the service. If you want to speak to someone who is not a member of your household, you must be seated in a chair and not move the chair towards the person.
e. All members must find a chair and sit down. Members must not mingle or create a crowding situation.
f. When leaving worship, all members should stay seated when passing the peace or chatting. When exiting the building they should not linger or create a crowding situation. You can physically distance yourselves outside the Church to chat with other worship attendees.
3. Children do not need to follow strict adult physical distancing guidelines but should follow good hygiene practices and physically distance where practicable. Congregation members should continue to maintain 1.5 metres physical distancing from children where practicable (unless they are part of your household).
4. Communion: All Congregants will remain in their seats. The servers will sanitise their hands and will wear masks. They will serve each individual a piece of bread and place it in the participants hands. The servers will then serve the juice in individual small communion glasses on a tray. The participant will select their glass and hold it until the servers return with the tray for them to replace it back into the tray.
